What we produce

More than a century of metallurgical tradition
The plant was founded in 1897 and is named after Kosaya Gora, a historic site near Tula. Construction of the Sudakovsky (now Kosogorsky) plant began in 1886, and by the end of 1897 the first pig iron had been tapped from the first blast furnace.
Today, JSC "KMZ" holds a strong position among the leading Russian producers of high-purity blast-furnace pig iron, ferromanganese, and industrial and art castings.
