Joint-Stock Company "Kosogorsky Metallurgical Plant" (JSC "KMZ") is an industrial enterprise whose history dates back to 8 May 1897, with its main activity being metallurgical production.
As a supplementary activity, JSC "KMZ" provides professional training under programmes for the preparation of workers and employees in core occupations on the basis of the licence for educational activities No. 0133/02344 dated 31 March 2015, issued by the Ministry of Education of the Tula Region.
Professional training is carried out for the purpose of preparing qualified workers solely for in-house production, without providing educational services to third-party organisations or to individuals who are not employees of the enterprise.
The information below is disclosed in accordance with the applicable legislation on education, taking into account the specific nature of the educational activity described above.

Founders: the founder of the joint-stock company at the time of its establishment during privatisation was an authorised state body — the Tula Region Property Management Committee. At present, the shareholders (participants) of the company are more than 3,700 legal entities and individuals; detailed information about them is available on the official website of the joint-stock company in accordance with securities legislation. There is no state share in the authorised capital.

Operating hours of JSC "KMZ": the main metallurgical production operates continuously, 24 hours a day. Educational activities are carried out according to the schedule of administrative staff, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00.

2. STRUCTURE AND GOVERNING BODIES OF THE EDUCATIONAL ORGANISATION
The governing bodies of JSC "KMZ" in accordance with the Federal Law "On Joint-Stock Companies" are: the shareholders' meeting, the board of directors, and the sole executive body — the management organisation: LLC "Satka Investment Holding", OGRN 1047796106412.
In order to organise professional training at the enterprise, in accordance with the relevant order the corresponding duties are assigned to:
- employees engaged in general and ongoing document handling related to professional training;
- members of qualification commissions;
- employees of JSC "KMZ" divisions who deal with matters of professional training of employees in their units.
This area of activity is headed by the Head of the Personnel Development Department, subordinate to the Chief Engineer of the enterprise, whose responsibilities include direct leadership and organisation of the professional training process at the enterprise.

Professional training is delivered under programmes for:
- professional preparation in worker occupations for persons who previously had no worker occupation;
- professional re-training of workers who already hold an occupation, for the purpose of obtaining a new occupation;
- advanced training of workers in their existing occupation.
Professional training is carried out in worker occupations, the list of which was approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No. 513 dated 2 July 2013.

All educational programmes have been developed at the enterprise in accordance with the requirements of the "Unified Tariff and Qualification Reference Book of Works and Worker Occupations" (ETKS).
State accreditation of educational programmes has not been carried out.
Training is conducted in Russian.
Training is carried out in a full-time format.
Professional training consists of two courses: theoretical and practical.
Training periods range from 1 to 6 months depending on the occupation being obtained. Specific training periods are set out in the educational programmes. Training is conducted as the need for training arises among the enterprise's employees.
Budget funds are not used for the delivery of the educational process.

All of these employees periodically undergo certification to confirm their qualifications.
6. MATERIAL, TECHNICAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT FOR THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
At JSC "KMZ", professional training (theoretical course) is delivered in 4 equipped classrooms.
The classrooms are equipped with blackboards, teaching posters, teaching samples and models, a simulator for training crane operators, a stand for training electricians, and other equipment.
During training, computers, technical literature and specialised periodicals purchased by the enterprise are used.
Practical training is carried out directly at workplaces under the guidance of certified industrial training masters.
Meals for students are provided in the canteen and buffets of the catering and retail shop.
Medical services for students, when required, are provided by the employees of the blast furnace shop medical centre.
No paid educational services are provided.
8. SCHOLARSHIPS AND SUPPORT MEASURES FOR STUDENTS
Scholarships and other forms of financial support are not provided.
Professional training is funded from the enterprise's own resources.
Budget funds are not used for the delivery of the educational process.
10. VACANT PLACES FOR ADMISSION (TRANSFER) OF STUDENTS
Professional training is carried out for employees of JSC "KMZ" and for persons being hired for vacancies in available worker occupations.
No agreements with foreign and/or international organisations on matters of professional training are entered into.
